Saving Tomato Paste

Recently, I had that disappointing experience of opening a can of tomate paste, taking out what I needed, putting the rest in the fridge, and by the time I returned to it...mold. Yuck! Then I remembered the easy trick to saving tomato paste by freezing it in an ice cube tray. Since the size of the cubes is about 1 tablespoon, it is easy to take out what I need and save the rest for a later recipe. No more wasted tomato paste!
